Product description
Repair lubrication is a technique for improving the condition of damaged tooth flanks in large girth gear drives during normal machine operation. The effect of running-in lubrication is based on the principle of controlled material removal. Sufficient material is removed to ensure effective repair, but no more than is technically safe. The hardened layer on the surface of the gear flanks is barely affected by this treatment.
