White Petrolatum – USP Grade
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Lub-O-Seal Petroleum Jelly is a multi-purpose lubricant that can be used in a variety of applications. It is
made from materials that meet USP XXII requirements and FDA requirements as per 21 CFR 172.880. Note:
Although all ingredients in this product have FDA compliance, this does not constitute FDA approval. To be
approved, the user must also comply with all applicable requirements set forth by the FDA.
TYPICAL PROPERTIES:
Color: Off-white, yellowish tint
Appearance: Smooth, semi-solid paste
Separation: None
Melting Point: 135 ° F
Congealing Point: 120 ° F
APPLICATIONS:
• Lubricant for pharmaceutical equipment
• O-ring lubricant
• Wire or cable pulling lubricant
• Temporary barrier for paints or stains
• General purpose industrial lubricant
RESTRICTIONS:
As with all petroleum base products, these lubricants should NOT be used in oxygen service.
