High performance sealing and lubricating compound for valves, pumps, flanges and gaskets 
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
    ASSIST 1000 is a multi-purpose valve, pump, 
flange and gasket assist  material designed to be 
used in conjunction with standard valve packings, 
gaskets and flanges. It is a grease-like, nonpetroleum compound with inert fillers that seal 
off leaks in valves, pumps, flanges and gaskets. 
ASSIST 1000 was designed to be used in problem 
areas to help reduce leaks and fugitive emissions 
in a variety of applications. It is water repellant, 
non-melting, resistant to oxidation and will not 
dry out in service. Severe temperature, vibration, 
expansion and contraction have no effect on 
ASSIST 1000. It is also safe for personnel to use 
because it contains no hazardous ingredients per 
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200. Severe temperature, 
vibration, expansion and  contraction have no 
effect.

FOR GASKETS & FLANGES:
    ASSIST 1000 should be used as a coating on 
gaskets and flanges. Both sides of the gasket should be 
coated with ASSIST 1000. Coating can be performed 
by either coating both sides of the gasket prior to 
installing <or> by coating the flange first, put gasket 
in place, then coat the other side of the gasket before 
making up the flange. Be sure to coat both sides of the 
gasket with ASSIST 1000 to ensure a leak free flange. 
FOR VALVES & PUMPS :
    ASSIST 1000 should be used as a coating for 
standard valve and/or pump packings. It should be 
applied to the packing before installation <or> it can 
be injected via grease fitting (if applicable). Be sure to 
completely coat the packing with ASSIST 1000 to 
ensure a leak free valve or pump.
