Metalstar KS 201 ... 203 are water-miscible die dressings for gravity and low pressure diecasting of aluminum alloys. They are based on silicate, solid lubricants and water. Casting and flow behaviour depend on the layer lattice structure of the solid lubricants in the die dressing. METALSTAR KS 210 is based on synthetic hydrocarbon oil and solid lubricants. It is a non water-miscible die dressing which extends the service life of riser stalks.
