United States FDA Regulations
  • This product shall meet the requirements of the E.P.A. regulation "Code of Federal Regulations 40 CFR" concerning "Tolerances and Exemption from Tolerances for Pesticide Chemicals in or on Raw Agricultural Commodities" under Section 180.910: "Inert ingredients used pre- and post-harvest; exemptions from the requirement of a tolerance." (Prior to April 28th 2004 this was section 180.1001(c))
  • This product has been assessed and does not comply with any US FDA food contact regulations.
European Union Food Regulations
 
  • When used as additive for the manufacture of preparations from printing inks and varnishes intended for printing on the non-food contact surface of materials and articles: - The composition of this product has been positively assessed according to Swiss Ordinance of the FDHA on Materials and Articles (RS 817.023.21) of 23 November 2005, Section 8b on Packaging Inks. All substances present in this product are listed on Annex 6 Part A or Part B.
  • As a result of CAS 1330-20-7 evaluation (officially recognized scientific testing) a Specific Migration Limit (SML) of 1 mg/kg should not be exceeded.
  • As a result of CAS 128-37-0 evaluation by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), a Specific Migration Limit (SML) of 3 mg/kg should not be exceeded.
  • As a result of CAS 100-41-4 evaluation (officially recognized scientific testing) a Specific Migration Limit (SML) of 0.6 mg/kg should not be exceeded.
  • As a result of CAS 149-57-5 evaluation (officially recognized scientific testing), a Specific Migration Limit (SML) of 0.05 mg/kg should not be exceeded.
