Very high strength, high viscosity thread locker
Description
Hylomar 4870 is a fast curing single part, anaerobic thread-locking adhesive. It gives very high
strength and has a high viscosity. When fully cured the product is highly resistant to heat, corrosion,
vibrations, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons and many other chemicals.

Instructions for Use
For best results ensure that both surfaces are clean, dry and free from contamination such as oil or
grease. Surfaces may be cleaned using Hylomar Easy Clean Solvent or an equivalent product.
Prior to assembly apply sufficient product to fill the threads, put the nut on to the thread and tighten to
the desired torque. After tightening any excess Hylomar 4870 can be easily wiped away using
Hylomar Rally Wipes.

nuts, bolts, studs and any metal threaded components that do not require dismantling.

Product contains Methacrylic ester and 2-Hydroxyethylmethacrylate.
Labeling = Sensitizing Xi Irritant

Avoid eye and skin contact.
