Fast curing very high strength, ultra low viscosity thread locker
Description
Hylomar 4800 is a fast curing single part, anaerobic, thread-locking adhesive and is designed to
penetrate close fitting metal parts. It gives very high strength, and very low viscosity. When fully
cured it is highly resistant to heat, corrosion, vibrations, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons and many
chemicals.

Instructions for Use
For best results ensure that both surfaces are clean, dry and free from contamination such as oil or
grease. Surfaces may be cleaned using Hylomar Easy Clean Solvent or an equivalent product.
After assembly apply Hylomar 4800 to the nut/bolt joint. Due to its ultra low viscosity the product
penetrates the gap between the nut and the bolt by capillary action and then cures. Any excess
Hylomar 4800 can be easily wiped away using Hylomar Rally Wipes.

Typical applications
Hylomar 4800 is a high strength ultra low viscosity thread-locking adhesive for use on nuts, bolts,
studs and any metal threaded components that do not require dismantling. The product is particularly
suited to be used post assembly, and relies upon capillary action to penetrate assemblies. The
product can also be used to penetrate and seal metal porosity in moulds, castings and welds.
Handling & Safety Properties
Product contains 2-Hydroxyethylmethacrylate.
Labeling = Sensitizing Xi Irritant

Avoid eye and skin contact.
