Super O-Ring Lubricant
Silicone grease for o-ring lubrication | - 40 to + 400 °F |
SUPER O-RING LUBRICANT
~ Silicone Base ~
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Lub-O-Seal Super O-Ring Lube is a medium
consistency silicone fluid based lubricating
compound designed fore general lubrication in
rubber to metal applications. It is a translucent to
white, greaselike material. Super O-Ring Lube will
not dry out in service and will retain its consistency
at temperatures ranging from –50 to +500 F (-50 to
+260 C). It is non-corrosive, odorless, resistant to a
variety of chemicals, and works well in lubricating
most plastic and rubber components.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
Super O-Ring Lube is not greatly affected by
mineral or vegetable oils, is generally resistant to
dilute acids and alkalines, and to most aqueous
solutions. Because each application may vary in
chemical composition, pressure, flow velocity,
lubrication frequency and equipment design, it is
recommended that the silicone be tested before
adopting for regular use. This product should NOT
be used in oxygen service or in applications
requiring oxygen compatibility.
FOR USE ON:
Super O-Ring Lubricant can be used in a variety
of applications requiring high lubricity or high
release properties, moisture resistance and high
dielectric.
• Lubricant & preservative for rubber & plastic
o-rings, gaskets and seals.
• Lubricant for control and pressure valves
• High pressure pneumatic seals and o-rings
• Vacuum seals and o-rings
• Lubricant for rubber or plastic assemblies
• Protecting electronic ignition systems
• Moisture & chemical resistant barrier
