PIPE FITTERS SEALANT 
High performance thread sealant, lubricant and anti-seize compound – with PTFE. 
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
    Pipe Fitters Sealant is a non-hardening, 
petroleum based thread  sealant and lubricant 
formulated with PTFE and other carefully 
selected additives. It is environmentally friendly 
and is free of any metallic particles.  It provides a 
leak-proof seal and maximum protection of 
threaded connections allowing fittings to be used 
and re-used numerous times.  Pipe Fitters Sealant 
also provides outstanding protection against 
galling, seizing and corrosion on metal surfaces. 
Pipe Fitters Sealant has excellent water resistance 
and adheres well to threaded surfaces even when 
surfaces have been exposed to oils.  Helps to seal 
new threads as well as badly worn pipe threads.  
It can safely be used on stainless or carbon steel, 
fiberglass, aluminum, brass, copper, iron, PVC, 
CPVC, and ABS. Severe temperature, vibration, 
expansion and contraction have no effect.

    meat and poultry plants,  USDA Rating: H-2
 • Can be safely used on stainless or other alloys. 
 • Use on steel, fiberglass, aluminum, brass, iron,   
    copper, PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipe threads. 
FOR USE ON:
    Pipe Fitters Sealant should be used on all pipe 
threads where protection of threads and/or sealing is 
required. Use on pipe threads, pipe fittings, fire 
sprinkler systems, steam lines, valve stem packing, 
pump packing, etc.  Pipe  Fitters Sealant provides 
immediate sealing and allows for tighter make-up at 
lower torque, as well as easier breakout without 
galling, stripping or otherwise damaging the threads.  
It is generally unaffected by  most fuels, oils, gases, 
caustics, acids and many other common solvents.

RESTRICTIONS:
For applications that require the higher temperatures 
as well as high levels of environmental or personal 
safety, try the Lub-O-Seal NM-91 Anti-Seize. NM-91 
Anti-Seize contains NO metals yet still offers 
protection to + 2400°F.  As with all petroleum base 
products, these products should NOT be used in 
oxygen service.
