ZINC ANTI-SEIZE
Anti-Seize Thread Compound per MIL-PRF-22361 (Mil-T-22361)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Lub-O-Seal Zinc Anti-Seize is a thread lubricant formulated from 50% petrolatum and 50% zinc dust to
meet the requirements of U.S. Military Spec Mil-PRF-22361 (Mil-T-22361) and CID-A-A-59313. It is
designed to prevent galling and/or seizing during assembly or disassembly of threaded and unthreaded parts
made of aluminum or aluminum alloys. Such applications can involve the aluminum parts engaged in
assembly with other aluminum or non-aluminum parts. Lub-O-Seal Zinc Anti-Seize also provides good
corrosion protection on aluminum as well as iron or other ferrous metals. The zinc dust acts as an
electromechanical “galvanizing compound” on metal to metal connections, therefore protecting the metal
surfaces.

RESTRICTIONS:
As with all petroleum base products, these lubricants should NOT be used in oxygen service.
