Anti-Seize Thread Compound per MIL-PRF-83483 (Mil-T-83483)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Lub-O-Seal Moly Anti-Seize is a thread lubricant formulated from 50% petrolatum and 50% molybdenum
disulfide (MoS2) to meet the requirements of U.S. Military Spec Mil-PRF-83483 (Mil-T-83483). Good
conductivity properties allow for use on spark plug threads exposed to moderate temperatures. It also
provides superior lubrication for press fit or close tolerance applications as well as for low speed and heavy
load applications. For higher temperature applications, use Lub-O-Seal Graphite Anti-Seize compound
designed to meet the higher temperature requirements of Mil-T-5544.

APPLICATIONS:
• Spark plug threads
• Press fit assembly
• Punch or sheer machinery

RESTRICTIONS:
As with all petroleum base products, these lubricants should NOT be used in oxygen service.
