Hylomar E 1190 Putty
E 1190 is a mineral, based, putty developed as a sealant for use in cable accessories and
terminations. It is an easy to use, non-aggressive material based on hydrocarbon oils and
polymers with inert fillers. It is supplied in convenient polyethylene wrapped bars.
Typical Properties
Penetration (30 7.5 to 9.5 mm
sec at 25oC):
Appearance: Dark Grey Putty with an oily odour.
Specific Gravity: 1.78 g/cm3
Chemical Non-aggressive to polymers and and metals..

Application Easy to apply by hand.
Water resistance Good moisture proofing qualities.
Conductivity Good electrical resistance properties
Shelf Life 2 years when stored in the original unopened containers between 5 to 25 oC
Pack Sizes
Standard pack: Carton containing 85 x 150g extruded bars individually wrapped in polyethylene.
Other pack sizes may be available subject to minimum batch requirements.
