EPN2 Electrical Putty
EPN2 is a mineral, based, putty developed as a sealant for resin filled telecommunication and
electrical joint boxes. It is easily kneaded and applied by gloved hand, and is supplied in
convenient polyethylene wrapped bars.
Typical Properties
Penetration (30 8– 11mm
sec at 25oC):
Appearance: Off-white putty with mineral oil odour.
Specific Gravity: 2.0 g/cm3
Operating The maximum operating temperature of the product is 50oC (up to this
temperature temperature the product will withstand physical deformation without adverse
effects).
If no physical stresses or deformation forces are placed on the product then
the maximum operating temperature is 210oC.
Conductivity Not determined
Shelf life 2 Years. When stored in the original unopened packaging between:
5o to 25oC in a dry place, out of direct sunlight.
Pack Sizes
Standard pack: Carton containing 85 x 150g extruded bars individually wrapped in polyethylene.
Other pack sizes may be available subject to minimum batch requirements.
