2211 SILICONE COMPOUND
Heavy consistency lubricant / sealant for high-vacuum or geophysical grade applications.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Lub-O-Seal 2211 Silicone compound is heavy
consistency, grease-like material containing a
polydimethyl silicone fluid and thickened with an
inert silica filler. It has excellent dielectric
properties, is highly water repellent, resistant to
oxidation, and essentially non-toxic and nonmelting. Lub-O-Seal 2211 will not dry out in
service and will retain its consistency at
temperatures ranging from –40 to +500 F (-40 to
+260 C). It is non-corrosive, odorless, resistant to a
variety of chemicals, and works well in lubricating
most plastic and rubber components.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
Lub-O-Seal 2211 is not greatly affected by
mineral or vegetable oils, is generally resistant to
dilute acids and alkaline, and to most aqueous
solutions. Because each application may vary in
chemical composition, pressure, flow velocity,
lubrication frequency and equipment design, it is
recommended that the silicone be tested before
adopting for regular use.
FOR USE ON:
Lub-O-Seal 2211 Silicone compound can be
used in a variety of applications requiring high
sealing ability, high moisture resistance or high
dielectric properties. It can be used on equipment
requiring temperatures or mechanical stability.

RESTRICTIONS:
This product should NOT be used in oxygen service or applications requiring oxygen compatibility.
