Dielectric silicone lubricant and sealant.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Lub-O-Seal 222 silicone compound is a
greaselike material containing a polydimethyl
silicone fluid and thickened with an inert silica
filler. It is translucent to white in appearance and
has excellent dielectric properties, is highly water
repellent, resistant to oxidation, and essentially nontoxic and non-melting. Lub-O-Seal 222 will not
dry out in service and will retain its consistency at
temperatures ranging from –40 to +500 F (-40 to
+260 C). It is non-corrosive, odorless, resistant to a
variety of chemicals, and works well in lubricating
most plastic and rubber components.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
Lub-O-Seal 222 is not greatly affected by
mineral or vegetable oils, is generally resistant to
dilute acids and alkaline, and to most aqueous
solutions. Because each application may vary in
chemical composition, pressure, flow velocity,
lubrication frequency and equipment design, it is
recommended that the silicone be tested before
adopting for regular use.
FOR USE ON:
Lub-O-Seal 222 Silicone compound can be used
in a variety of applications requiring high moisture
resistance, high dielectric, lubricity, and release or
sealing properties. It can be used on equipment
requiring temperatures or mechanical stability.

RESTRICTIONS:
This product should NOT be used in oxygen service or applications requiring oxygen compatibility.
